Report for the Washington Student Achievement Council (Aug 26, 2013)

In the spring of 2013, Marc Robinson, director of the Culture and Heritage Houses, and Michael Tate, chief diversity officer, contributed to a report for the Washington Student Achievement Council titled, "Educational Attainment for All: Diversity and Equity in Washington State Higher Education."  This was a collaborative project between the Council, WSU, and the University of Washington.

As a part of this project, Robinson led the “Survey of Higher Education Diversity Programs in Washington State,” which was sent to every two-year and four-year college and university in Washington State.  The survey findings were analyzed and published in the report.

The report is now complete and available on the Washington Student Achievement Council website.

Visit from Provost Dan Bernardo (Aug 1, 2013)

On July 22, the Culture and Heritage Houses were honored by a visit from Interim Provost Dan Bernardo.  The staff of the Culture and Heritage Houses, accompanied by their Diversity Education and Equity and Diversity colleagues, sincerely enjoyed meeting with Provost Bernardo and giving him a tour of our facilities.  To see pictures, visit our Facebook page!
