In 2006, Casa Latina opened its doors to WSU faculty, students, staff, and community members.  Casa Latina is an event space used for meetings, potlucks, and educational programs.  The house provides a welcoming and comfortable environment, with overnight accommodations for visiting speakers, scholars, and artists.  Also, Casa Latina has a collection of art and books that celebrate Chicano/Latino heritage, and the building provides office space for the Diversity Education program.
